My wonderful computer is acting up... after 2 yrs of dormant normalcy, its screw-upness is showing up again.. I can't enter the Net, MSN, use System-Restore... Sigh... Its like it suffered a partial stroke, paralysed waist down.... Some components and programmes can be used, but the other half is useless. Go figure =S AND THE STUPID "ENTER" button is NOT WORKING! How on Earth am I supposed to paragraph my sentences.... ARGH... dumb comp... (Paragraph) What's the deal with parents queueing up like its th end of the world if their kids do not enter a popular primary school... So wad if the school is "steeply inclined in the Arts and Sports"? They are afterall only primary school kids... Wad arts do you wanna instill in them other than Potato Prints and Paper Mache? Its likewise utterly absurd to think jus cos a particular primary school churned out a top student for PSLE, its gonna do the same for their kids. So I suppose if all the parents in Singapore sent their kids to that particular primary school, ALL the kids in Singapore are gonna be top PSLE students. And so if a school is "steeply inclined in the arts" , they can bring their kids to Singapore Arts Museum or the Louvre and enjoy paintings and exchange thoughtful rantings bout pieces by Monet and Picasso and whoever-the-artist is? I guess there is only a slightly more advantage to sending your kid to a renowned school... MAYBE, jus maybe, it cld do your kid some good... Anyone in the right mind should seriously go watch "Secret". Even if you abhor Jay Chou, detest Jay Chou, hate-to-the-point-of-u-rather-kill-yourself dislike Jay Chou, you should definitely give the movie a chance. Brush off the initial thought of "EEE JAY CHOU" and FREAKING GO WATCH IT!!!!
The show is thoroughly confusing, yet thouroughly enjoyable. Even if you dun like the movie, I'll promise you that you will like the soundtrack. Its fabulatastic!
How I wish I could play the piano well. After 14 freaking yrs of piano.. I still cant play it... SIgh... how to play all those nice pieces u tell me... =(

Had high class Maggii Mee today.
Met up with Serene, WK, KW, Oliver and Yilin today for dinner. While looking for a dinner spot at Central Mall, we saw this very long queue outside this Jap restaurant. This particular restaurant, from my memory, is eternally having a long queue. So we decided to queue as well, without looking at the menu. Queued for like 45 min, then when we were next in line into the rest, we saw the menu.
It only had 3 freaking items. Ramen with chicken base soup (12 bucks), Ramen with chicken base soup with green chilli (12 bucks) and Ramen with god-noes-wad (15 bucks). Now the ramen is plain, so u gotta add on toppings and sides, which cost 4 bucks at least. Nonetheless, we decided the Ramen could be REALLY DELICIOUS. Some woman went out actually exclaiming "Thats was so worth the money!", to which Miss Yilin gave some sarcastic remark with her fake english accent. Haha :)
Anyways, we ordered the first ramen, which turned out, expectedly, like a big bowl of Maggi. Chicken flavour. Nice, thick flavour, but nonetheless Maggi-ish.
Serene said maybe we dunno how to appreciate such food. Haha. Any Yilin and I , while waiting for our food to be served, munched and munched on loads of sesame seeds provided by the restaurant. Haha we finished like half a bottle. Splendidly Delicious!
Time to digress. The world's Most Voluptous Virgin, and currently my fav, other than Ai Tominaga.

Making new friends is such a chore. You gotta get past that "Hi (silence) Where do u live (silence) What do you do (longer silence)" phase, which is so tiresome and forced. I absolutely hate that phase and almost everytime pull myself into a vortex of austistic silence and self entertainment, cutting myself off from the whole world. In other words, I "zi bi".
Today however, I was spared that forced nicecities while making friends. Owing to the fact that both my parents were working late and I had to solve the problem of dinner, and that I hadn't seen Alwyin in ages, we went out for dinner. But before that we had to go to the Singapore Art museum to attend the opening his fren was involved in.
Now normally, I wouldn't even step foot in such place. Its so English and High Class. Like you would need special eyes to actually be able to comprehend the meaning behind the countless numbers of rubbish paintings and their equally rubbishy names, WHICH, never ever seem to be of ANY relation to their paintings. Sheesh.
Anywaes, had to go cos Alwyin's friend was involved in the opening. Thank god Alwyin's friends Reena and Vanantha were such friendly pple. Although they did ask the usual "where do u stay, what do u do" qns, the way they asked it was so lively and not-boring. Thankfully I didnt have to retreat into my "vortex of silence". Got along well with them =) Such nice pple, although they were like the englishy-englishy and intelligenty (Reena is in Mensa or smth, and Vanantha studies Med and Anorexic bitch aka Alywin studies Law) they didnt have any airs or arrogance about them.
In a way, it felt refreshing talking to them. Topics I dun usually talk about with my gangs, like the more philosophical stuff bout life(which totally bores the hell out of me), I talked bout it with them. And it didnt feel all that borish or cheemish. It was understandable and I could relate to it. It jus felt refreshing la.
I had a wonderfully fab time with them, bitching with Alwyin, Reena and Vanantha about pple and life, and viewing, possibly for the last time, so many artsy-fartsy stuff in one night.

There is something fundementally wrong with our society that seriously bewilders me... It could be also happening in other countries, but let's just narrow it down to here.
Number One :
Blame it on hormones. Blame it on teenage foolishness. Blame it on the thrill, but why do so many pple have unsafe premarital sex? I mean, dun get me wrong, I am ALL for premarital sex, GO PREMARITAL SEX!! But why do it the unsafe way, then the boyfriend "accidently" ejaculates in the girlfren, and TADA! Suprise of all suprises, u get an unwanted baby. Then the arsehole of the boyfriend refuses to acknowledge the baby... yada yada yada... Why go thru all the trouble? If u want to have sex, use a condom! And from wad I noe, some pple are actually stupid enuf to get "accidently" pregnant like more then 2 times... Sheesh...
Number Two :
Having too many children when you noe u can't afford it, the operative words being CAN'T AFFORD IT. I just saw a case, the parents have 5 kids... and they can't afford one of their lower mentally challenged sons to special school. Sigh.. Stop at 2 please. In the end, the kids suffer, the bills can't get paid, the parents have to slog like slaves jus to make ends meet... Sigh... Sex is good between husband and wife, but as usual, dun be traditional conservative tweets, and refuse to use a condom.
Number Three :
Drink driving. I think pple who drink and drive are socially irresponsible nit-wits. Fuckards if u will. Its so irksome to read bout drivers getting into accidents jus cos they drank. Like wth. If u want to drink and have fun in the pub/club/coffee shop or whereever it is this arseholes drink, then DUN DRIVE!!! For Heaven's and good of the whole of humanity, DUN FUCKING DRINK AND DRIVE. So many families are destroyed cos of that. And you have the riders who ride with them, I dunno whether they can be classified as stupid also, but it is right? You jolly well noe the driver is drunk, then go drive with them for wad? Enuf said... Jus pisses me off reading the articles in the papers. Dumb celebrities with God-complexes dun help the situation either.
Please be socially responisible. Thanks. The world doesn't revovle ard you only.
